Since its introduction in the 1970s, the platform has evolved into a benchmark for mountain rescue, law enforcement and utility missions.
Airbus Helicopter H125
The Airbus H125 (formerly Eurocopter AS350, Ecureuil) is one of the most capable single-engine helicopters in high-altitude operations worldwide.
Developed from the AS350 “Écureuil” lineage, it combines low weight, high power and operational flexibility.
In 2005, a modified AS350 B3 became the first helicopter to land on the summit of Mount Everest — demonstrating the performance limits of the design.
